TO ANNOUNCE A GO GROUP

If you are a current No KAOS Zone member, you can create and announce a new Go Group at any time.

To do this, just come here and post the day, time and duration of your Go Group by clicking reply at the end of this announcement.

It is important to subscribe to this group using the little blue button below (at the very bottom of this page) to receive updated notification of new go groups so that you don't miss any and so that others will see yours

To do that, here are the rules...

Go Groups start exactly at the designated start time and end at the duration end time. The rule is that we get in, get out and get on with the good stuff of life!

Come on a few minutes early to announce your project and let us know that you are participating and at the end to announce your progress and your plan to maintain momentum in the future (create another go group or when you will pencil in another work session in your planner) and that's all there is to it!

WHEWWW! I have now got a cleaned out corner. It amazes me sometimes how little time it can take to do a job that has taken light years to procrastinate on!

I took a before picture so I am going to post it with an after later today.

Right now I am pumped to wash the floor and complete my boost - who knows what else I can get off my shoulders today!

If you would like to create a GO Group of your own during a time slot that works for you, remember that if you are a No KAOS Zone member, you can do that anytime.

Or just get going on your own, see what you can do in 15 minutes!

I re-read the instructions. I like the idea of using twitter. It was hard to find the group mentioned though. How about using hashtags? Maybe #gogroupishine, or #gogroup #ishine, or #gogroup #queenofkaos? Not sure, just some way to search?

I need to brush up on my twitter skills, I've been off of it for ages but would really like to start utilizing it, it can be a awesome tool - it's so quick and to the point and easy to use. Just my kind of thing :0)

I took out the recycling, food waste and garbage. Washed out the food waste bin, wiped down the outside of it, cleaned the counter and stove top. Not bad for 15 minutes.

How did it go for everyone else?

I tweeted at beginning and end but I forgot the protocol. Did anyone else tweet?

I'd like to do this again tomorrow, same time. Anyone else?

Hi Mary! I'm so glad that you made it, I didn't see your post until now.

Good for you, it feels a lot better to have that out of the way doesn't it!

I won't be able to participate at this time tomorrow as I am working 730 to 4:00, all days this week except Tues.

If another time or Tues works for you, count me in!

Or if you can get a GO Group GOing :0) for tomorrow, that would be fantastic.

Go ahead and post it, the instructions are above and we can see what happens.

It may take awhile to get people onto subscribing to the thread for notifications, I will also work on thinking of a way to organize it for better communication for calling the groups.

I'll try for Mon-Fri this week, 15 minutes at 8 a.m. Pacific, 11 a.m. Eastern. So maybe I'll see you Tuesday! I'll post it.

Twitter doesn't enter into this too much? If we're using it, perhaps hashtags would be a help in finding our tweets: #gogroup #ishine? or #queenofkaos #ishine? Something like that. It looks like #gogroup is already in use.

BEFORE GO GROUP 15 MINUTES SESSION

AFTER GO GROUP 15 MINUTE SESSION

I had been putting this off because I thought it was going to take hours!

I do have one of the boxes to sort and empty but everything is where it needs to be - and it isn't the corner! 

Now I'm trying to think of something nice to put there, it looks kind of bare.

I'm also working on the windows as a big rock project, maybe I will wait until I figure out what I'm covering the one in the picture with (used to be an outside window until we added an unexpected room out there. I am likely just doing a curtain until I firm up a plan for this area, there are a lot of unique possibilities.)
