It's the long weekend here and I find myself with a few hours to do what ever I want.
Hmmm.
It comes down to two things.
What's nagging me.
Or what will give me the biggest bang for my hours.
I have a few options...
Work in the garden before the bugs come out - I will thank myself later.
Do a little more clean of a few piles that are taking up prime real estate around here.
Paint a chair. I have an old weather worn rocking chair that I've been meaning to paint for years.
Could today be the day?
Or can I do a little of all 3?
SET YOUR TIMERS!
I'm going to take a shot at setting my timer for 10 minutes to see if I can get the pile that is nagging me the most out of the way.
Then I am going to take the chair outside so that I can enjoy the weather and give it a quick sanding. There isn't much left to sand! Then I'm going to set my timer for 1/2 hour and get it painted.
That should bring me to around 4:00.
I'll take a break for about 15 minutes and then I will set the timer for another hour and get out in the garden.
If it's still nice and I'm still motivated, I'll stay out there.
If not, I'll come back in and work on the next round of things that are nagging me.
How about you?
What can you do today that will really make a difference and take a load off?
Get your timer out and take a stab at it!
