Living Clean

I've been really interested to see the goings on lately. It's been like Murphy's Law on steroids for about 2 weeks, almost as long as I've been back on my BOOST circuit.

What is really interesting, is that the exact same thing happened the last time I was really excelling with it. Everything started breaking and generally caused enough diversion and distraction that I went off of my routine and never got back at it for ages.

It delayed the book I wrote about it and even caused me to change the title, which had originally been "The Queen of KAOS Takes Control".

Although I had for the first time in a long time felt in control, it all kind of knocked the feeling out of me and left me feeling that to use that title would be dishonest, and even laughable! Control. HA!

I learned that there really is no such thing as control, only being ready for what ever life throws at you!

But that is a handy thing to know.

So here we are, at it again.

But this time is different. I'm ready :0))

Ironically, one of the things that went wrong yesterday was that I can't find the usb drive that contains my last edits for the Queen of KOAS book (final title yet undecided!)

I finally had a good few hours to dedicate to getting it a big step closer to finishing up.

But I spent most of the day looking.

THE BAD NEWS

The bad news is that I still can't find it.

The good news is that I printed it out, so if worst comes to worst, I will have to spend the time retyping and reformatting, but at least I have it.

OK, I didn't quite have that attitude yesterday :0)

MY BIG WIN

But guess what my big win was yesterday.

The fact that I had so much in order from doing my BOOST every day that looking for it was sooooooo much easier than it would have been.

There just wasn't as much to search through.

And the peace that is truly coming over every room in our house as it gets better every day really helped to keep things steady, even though I wasn't very happy about losing it.

Am I discouraged?

Not one bit.

In fact, I'm encouraged to continue.

WHAT CAN I DO BETTER NEXT TIME?

I have really seen through this the power of having things decluttered and organized. I had kept the usb drive on my desk for as long as I can remember in a little tray under my monitor. I just don't remember moving it at all. I may have taken it with me somewhere to use on my laptop and not put it away. Who knows where it could be.

And that is the lesson.

Have a home for the important things to keep things together, and even more so to make sure to use it.

Not to get distracted and to be more mindful. Chances are that when ever I used it last I left it in a pocket, in a bag or obviously somewhere it isn't supposed to be because I got distracted and forgot it.

The other thing?

A MASTER LIST CAN SAVE A LOT OF TIME

Make a master list.

I have found myself on a few occasions now wishing that I had written down where I had put something.

I've never done these before I am seeing the wisdom in them. Especially for important things.

They could save a lot of searching time.

So, one way or the other, I'm going to get working on finishing up the full Queen of KAOS book (it's the full version of the BOOST Circuit - if you have it, keep an eye out, I'll be sending you a surprise :0)

And I will definitely be continuing my daily BOOST.

On to a better day!
