In many ways I'm just getting my feet wet with 2009.
Our electricity was out for a 5 days starting Dec. 27, then to add insult to injury, our septic pipe backed up.
Laundry, dishes, showers. All running into a frozen line that landed in my kitchen!
I highly don't recommend you try that at home!
How is your new year coming along so far?
More importantly, what's your big thing?
IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE SO BIG
Your big thing can be anything, any size, any where.
It just needs to be 'the thing' that you place your focus on until it's finished.
Something that will feel big when it's finished.
STREAMLINE IN 2009
That's my big thing.
I am finding that for everything I am able to let go of, a new world of possibility opens.
I'm streamlining my goals too.
If you want to make goal setting - and achieving - a simple process, you can read about my plan to

TAKE THE TIME IN 2009
This lesson popped up and knocked me on the head over the holidays.
I found that after taking a week off by necessity, nothing changed.
The world didn't stop.
How humbling.
How freeing.
It made me realize that if I need time to do the things in life that I want to do - keeping my house clean, feeding the kids well, exercise, some time for hobbies and anything else - all that I need to do is take it.
The world will stumble on without me.
What a concept.

HOW ABOUT YOU?
One of the best things about starting a new year is that we have a clean slate.
A year of possibilities is open to you right now.
How about jumping right in.
Choose your one big thing, no matter how small.
Focus on it until you've got it and then, and only then, go onto your next big thing.
I'd love to hear from you.
Let me know how it goes.
