The NTL man cometh
Today there is a beneficial crisis that may take my housekeeping agenda forward.
The NTL man cometh and the box sitteth in my bedroom area.
This means I have to clear that area so he can reach it to fix the TV.
Yesterday I removed a large printer that was sitting in that area.
There is some linen there and this has gone onto the bed, but must go back in linen cupboard.
The excitement mounts as I have taken some junk out of there - including 2 loads in the washing basket which have been deposited on the sofa for a quick sort.
I need a dustpan and brush as some floor has been appearing and I need to take the gritty bits off it.
This is real progress as this is the last area of true squalor, and if I can get this sorted I have more or less all my floor cleared.
I have a before photo somewhere - so I can take some 'after' pix to raise my spirits a little.
However, it is really only one half of the room that is clearing but still it is quite a big excitement.
More later - so watch this space.
Last night I also cleared 2 important shelves in the office area, cleared a filing cabinet and put the active stuff in the filing cabinet. This means there are some more junk piles, but it is a real sign that the energy is shifting.
