Day 7 - Floors Washed Before Daughter Leaves for School

Yesterday I barely squeaked through in getting my BOOST finished.

Today I totally rocked it out.

The first reason is that I took the extra time even though I didn't really feel like it to vaccuum on the floor that our kitchen/office/bedroom is.

This set me up perfectly when this morning came along. I noticed that the dog area needed changing (our pom is paper trained because she can't get to the front door to ask to go out. this way she has a place to go in emergencies)

Then I noticed that the floor could use washing too.

And all I had to do was go grab a bucket and mop - presto!

No picking up.

No sweeping or vacuuming.

No telling myself I'll do it later.

It was all finished before my daughter even left for school.

Can't beat that - I washed the entire kitchen, bedroom and office floors as well as the stairs.

Tadaa!!

LESSON?

There are plenty of times that you won't even realize that you are setting yourself up for success tomorrow, or the next day.

I am often amazed at how this happens.

Just yesterday my daughter asked me if I'd seen her grey shirt.

Normally I wouldn't have, but I was able to tell her that I saw it beside the couch because I had just been in there working on the window beside it.
