I am married with 3 kids - 2 daughters ages 10 and 15 and a son who is 17.

After studying to become a nutritional consultant and reiki master, I had planned to open my own health food store - natural health had been an obsession with me since my kids where born.

With my husband being away working most of the time, I was essentially living as a single mom with occasional back up, so in the end I decided that it would be too much time away from the kids and decided to look at other things that I could do at home.

Being big on natural and the environment, at the time I saw a need for more access to quality DIY skin care supplies in Canada, so I started working at home in earnest in 2001 when I started my own natural skin care and soap making supplies business.

Little did I know that the time and energy requirements of running the business would soon take on a life of it's own. I had to learn organization and time management, HAD to become self disciplined.

One ordinary day of rushing and disorganization I proclaimed myself "the Queen of KAOS" and decided that I had better learn how to get organized and manage my time or just sign myself into the looney bin that day.

I choose option one, and as I got better at it I was amazed at how a few basic rules seemed to work in every area of my life.

I had to share. It became my goal to help others, especially mom's and dad's who I knew could improve their lives and the lives of their kids by using the same things that I had learned.

So my website Queen of KAOS was born and my first ebook, the Queen of KAOS at Home, the one that started it all, will be here shortly.

My biggest challenge is to stay on track, to maintain the habits and routines that I know work, if I do them.

That is the reason for this community. I know that it takes support, even when we know what to do. We can read and learn, but unless we do... consistently... it is of no value.

Creating this community is about taking ACTion in what we need to do, doing and supporting others to do it too.

I can say that creating this community is my biggest win. It has been an idea in my head for over 3 years, and here it is.

What are my goals? I want to continue to focus on the important things, weeding out the things that waste my time, especially the time I have with my kids.

I want to be successful in my business and to stay healthy. I want to maintain a home and create memories that my kids will look back on some day and say, it was great when I was a kid, living at home, and make it a place that they want to stop back at as they become adults and travel their own road. (as long as they do their own laundry :0)

And I want this for you...

I truly hope that you find this community of value, and that you USE it, every day to get things done, so that you can have a happy life, and raise your kids with love and happiness too.
