Living Clean

I read the tip on having the kitchen clean before going to bed. I did that last evening and it was so nice coming in this morning to get my coffee. I did feel better. Now I need to work on the bathroom, so that when I get ready for work tomorrow, I will have that same great feeling. One less thing to nag at me in the morning. :)

For many years I never had a hard and fast rule about cleaning the kitchen/dishes so I spent most mornings doing dishes. At one point I didn't mind, but when I started working at home I really resented spending my best work time doing dishes.

I think it was Carole's 'Confessions of a Clean Freak' that got me on to making it a 'non negotiable' to do the dishes before going to bed.

And also to give the bathroom a quick clean up for 5 minutes every night. I really couldn't believe the difference that 5 minutes makes. Nothing worse than gas station bathroom syndrome, and this really nipped it in the bud.

I even mention my experiences with the difference I found that 5 minutes made in my BOOST Circuit eGuide. because such a small thing really does give such a great feeling.

As you said, one less thing to nag at you, doesn't get much better than that! (I hate that inner nag and the only way to shut it up seems to be to just do it :0))
