Putting meals on the table, and keeping healthy foods available has always been a challenge for me. I am very health oriented and even studied to be an nutritional consultant with plans to open a health food store - and yet - I find it tough to be prepared.
The only way that I have found is to have a structured meal plan, and a structured time to do it.
But it doesn't have to be complicated if you want to keep it simple.
Today for instance, I only had a few minutes, so I sat down with a piece of paper, looked over some prior plans that I had and made a plan for the week.
Then I wrote a grocery list below it. Total time was 10 - 15 minutes while I took a tea break.
To get more involved - planning snacks, breakfast and lunch will take more time, but the good thing is that once you have the planning finished, you can use it over and over again.
What's stopping you?
Why not grab a beverage, take a load of for 10 - 15 minutes and make yourself a plan for your family's dinner this week.
When you are finished, be sure to put the list in your purse so that you have it when you go to the store, and plan to go soon so that nothing will hold you back!
And don't forget to come back here to share your plan, I will post mine below.
