I'm still perfecting my Boost, but have decided to start my decluttering so that I have less to clean each day :)
My plan was to do a lighter Boost while adding in 5 minutes of decluttering today on the super messy areas - the baby's room, the office & the playroom. This is pretty ambitious for me because I am working 4 hours tonight and have to get dinner done before I leave.
I decided to do 10 minutes in the baby's room (which is really just an add-on to my bedroom) because it also has my closet in it and I need to get it cleaned up because my BF is moving in this weekend! This is the area where I throw all the clothes that are off-sizes for my boys until I can get them sorted and it is a HUGE mess. I forgot to take a "before" picture, but here is what I accomplished today:
That space on the floor wasn't there before and the box and bags to the right are the items I have already sorted.
I was only planning on doing 5 minutes in the boys' room, but instead we all 3 worked together and got the whole thing clean in about 10-15 minutes. Here is the final result:
I still need to do my 5 minutes in the office, but wanted to post the "before" pictures:
And last of all, I still have to do 5 minutes in the playroom, which is a disaster and in need of major decluttering:
