Living Clean

I am doing some decluttering in my study. I am not sure this is on the list anywhere - but this is very overdue. I am doing a bit of general declutter everywhere. What I am doing is the give away, put away throw away that is in several books. I am concentrating on things that can actually go out of the front door tomorrow - I might even put them in the car meanwhile - ready to go in the morning.

First of all there are 2 teddies that can go for raffle prizes. I am going to take them up to the office tomorrow as there is a big cupboard where I can bury them for the December raffle.

So this is the list of stuff going out:
Teddies - and old clothing etc for taking out tomorrow, teddies to office and clothing to clothing recycle.
recycling - paper recycle into paper recycle bin, for Waitrose recycle centre tomorrow
Leaves from garden can go into brown wheelie bin that they are collecting this week, or into compost or leaf mould.
There is an empty compost bin in the garden that can take this
The other bin is nearly full and that is for kitchen waste.
Plastics can go to the Tesco recycle tomorrow

Garden jobs for winter - put these into garden ta-da list - ta-da is a software list builder

I need to empty the large compost bin at some point over the winter and recover the compost from the bottom half and re-propogate the top
The planters and pots by the back door need to go into the shed
Tie down the tarp over the wooden table

More tomorrow about how I got on with all this...

I'm doing the papers at the moment while watching the television.

I like the 'out' concept. Sometimes I'm thinking that I would be most happy with one piece of furniture per room. And mabye a rug :0)) Seriously, the rooms that catch my eye on tv etc are always the ones that are sparce - so much easier to keep clean too. On the other hand, I like homeyness (is that a word!) and character but I think that it can be done with an eye to making what you have work and that it is appealing to everyone without the challenge of having too much.

Check it out!
