that's the way it goes sometimes, it's great that you keep trying! That means that when you do have the time you will jump back on. It happens to me sometimes too. And each time it is a little easier with less to do to catch up from the times before when I have been able to keep at it.

I find at times like that the best thing that I can do is to control any new messes by reminding myself to pick up after myself - put things away after I use them, slow down enough to be mindful - straighten the cupboard a bit as I put groceries away instead of tossing them in for instance :0))

And if I can get 5 - 10 minutes to straighten up, it always helps, especially if I can concentrate it in one area. I like to think of that as 5 minute magic.
