Hi Leanne, being depressed can make it tough, that's for sure.

I've been prone to depression during various times in my life. One thing that helped me greatly, believe it or not, was to be sure I was getting proper nutrition.

A good multivitamin (generally not the ones of the shelf, you may be able to get a good liquid product at a health food store, I like the liquid greens or powders that go in a smoothy, I buy my vitamins online but I don't know if they deliver where you are, I'll post the link when I find it). They are expensive but seem to help.

Be sure especially that you are getting your B's and omega 3's.

The other thing was gratitude. Sometimes being thankful for the very air I breathe and for the fact that I can move freely and have my kids and family is all that I need to make me realize that I am wasting my precious time being depressed and that I will regret it some day when I no longer have these things.

For me, PMS will bring it on as physical symptom more than emotional, on those days I just acknowledge it and get on with the day.

Dr. Wayne Dyer sums it up best. He calls it rule number 6.

The rule is stop taking yourself so #$%^ seriously.

There are no other rules.

I try to remember that one. It always helps.

What brings me the most peace so that I have more room for happiness?

It's clearing clutter and making something nice.

If I can even chip away at one thing that has been annoying me, it is like a breath of fresh air.

Choosing one thing that would make a difference is a great way to start, and tackling it even 5 minutes, every day.

Then take a deep breath and thank Spirit, or God in what ever form you see him, for your breath.
