My son just turned 18. It seems like only yesterday he was 'running away' on his bike because I wouldn't let him hang out with his friends in town.

Now he's hardly ever here and driving around.

One thing that surprised me about having older kids, and that was that they still need you just as much as they did when they were younger, they just prefer to ignore the fact when possible :0)
