Making soap is not something to take lightly.
It is a lot of fun, great for anyone who enjoys creativity and for the do it yourselfer.
But to make soap, you need to use lye. Lye is a very caustic chemical that can cause serious damage, even one single speck in the eye can be blinding.
So safety precautions must be taken. (read my article here -

Soap can be fickle as well, so it is important to learn the proper procedure. The more you know about the small details, the more likely you will be successful. From there you will probably never buy another bar of soap again - unless it's from another handmade soap maker!
